European Douglas Fir. The timber grades to C-16/C-18/C-24 and is non durable but it responds well to all preservatives. Whitewood is very versatile and is used in many industries.
This timber varies from almost white to pale yellowish-brown with a natural lustre. It dries rapidly with little tendency for splitting.
Whitewoods main uses include, general joinery, furniture, flooring, staircases and construction.

CLS, C16, 18 & 24 Sawn Timber is kiln dried and is ideally used for internal building work such as in floor and roof joists.
